About the Georgian Mountain Tea Association

Established in 2021, the Georgian Mountain Tea Association serves as a beacon of the tea cultivation industry in Georgia's upper Imereti region. Our association stands as a vibrant network and collective of local tea producers dedicated to promoting, protecting, and perpetuating our unique heritage of tea production.

Our mission is to empower our members, elevate the reputation of Georgian tea on a global stage, and significantly enhance local sales and export opportunities. Our roots lie in the heart of Georgia, in a community of tea growers that strive to deliver nothing but the best quality tea to the world.

Our Objectives

1. Member Support: Our members, tea producers of the upper Imereti region, are our greatest strength. We provide a conducive platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge sharing, and fostering a sense of community built on mutual growth and success.

2. Promote Georgian Tea: Georgian tea, with its rich history and unique qualities, has a distinct narrative that needs to be shared and celebrated globally. We endeavor to amplify this story, enhancing worldwide recognition and appreciation of our robust tea culture.

3. Boost Sales & Export Opportunities: We aim to stimulate local sales and open global markets for our teas by forging connections with potential partners and tirelessly promoting the high-quality, organic teas produced in Georgia.

4. Enhance Product Quality: We place a high premium on quality. We are committed to guiding our members to comply with stringent quality measures to ensure every cup of Georgian tea delivered is a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence.
